Economic Impact

211 San Diego connects individuals and families to free assistance, including checking eligibility for both the federal and California EITC programs, and helps them file or amend returns so they can receive the cash they’ve earned

Access to Benefits

We operate a live phone-based enrollment center that helps people apply for and stay enrolled in programs such as CalFresh and SNAP. We help San Diegans understand requirements, and connect them to trusted providers.

Our Response to Disaster

Disaster response is a core function of 211 San Diego. We are built to scale quickly—staff, technology, and partnerships – to immediately connect people with resources to navigate the impacts of a disaster. We also connect people to recovery resources long after news headlines fade.

Our Care Coordination/CIE

The CIE connects health, social service, housing, and emergency partners through shared data and referrals, transforming disconnected systems into a coordinated network that responds to individual needs in real time.
